Research and Innovation
Dr. Siano is committed to advancing the field of retinal medicine through clinical research and scholarship. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented at local and national conferences, and he recently contributed a feature article on gene therapy for retinal disease to The ReFocus Roundtable, the network's clinical newsletter. Through his involvement in clinical trials at New England Retina Associates, he provides his patients with access to the latest therapeutics for sight-threatening conditions including macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema. He is an active participant in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, and the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians.
I'm deeply committed to preserving and restoring vision for patients facing retinal disease. There's nothing more rewarding than helping someone maintain their independence and quality of life through early intervention and compassionate care.
